The Guan Hanqing Grand Theatre is named after the greatest Chinese playwright Guan Hanqing and is a brilliant pearl in Lehu Lake, Baoding, Hebei. This building was designed by Cui Kai from the China Academy of Architectural Design and Research. It is located by Donghu Lake, Qiyi East Road, Baoding City, Hebei Province, with a total construction area of approximately 67864 square meters, including 41621 square meters of the Grand Theater and 18637 square meters of the Baoding Museum, with a building height of 59 meters. There are three floors above ground and one floor underground. The Grand Theater mainly includes a grand theater with approximately 1520 seats and a cinema with 9 screening halls, which can meet the needs of various large-scale cultural performances and conferences and provide citizens with rich and diverse cultural services. The Guan Hanqing Grand Theater and Museum project is the most important highlight in the East Lake section of Baoding Humanities.
Stage lighting is primarily designed to serve artistic performances. When designing the basic lighting of this theater, we fully consider the size of the stage and decide on how high-power lighting fixtures should be used. The emission angle of each lighting fixture has fixed focus and variable focus. We determine the brightness and strength of the stage light based on the size of the emission angle, and the height of the stage determines the position of the suspended lighting fixtures, making the lighting of the entire stage uniform and highly three-dimensional, to meet the visual effects of the audience at different angles of seats. We have adopted professional technology for the entire stage lighting, fully expressing the characters, time, space, emotions, beauty, and ugliness to be presented in the performance. In terms of technical performance, multiple actors in the same performance area of the entire stage area are illuminated simultaneously. The brightness and color of the lights change vividly.
